Residential Project
Kurt came highly recommended from my brother-in-law to myself and my wife after completing renovations on his apartment at the Gold Coast.
Our home was a 1930’s Queenslander which had been lifted but not built-in downstairs, it was basically a house on stilts. Along with several other builders, Kurt quoted the job to architectural plans, was very competitive with price and more importantly, very professional throughout the quoting process. He continued to ask questions while at the same time offering solutions and alternatives resulting in many being accepted which in turn lead to the architects plans being altered.
Kurt, with his inhouse team of tradesmen and subcontractors carried out the major renovations in an extremely professional manner. They were all very capable in their own specific trades, their attention to detail was second to none and when taking the business side of things out of it, they were all just really nice guys to have in our home.
We lived upstairs during the construction of both levels and felt very comfortable knowing that Kurt and his team were treating our house like it was their own and had no doubts about giving them full access while we continued to travel to work daily.

Commercial Projects
Several years after having such a good experience with Kurt and the KDM team on our home, I asked Kurt if he was interested in two commercial projects which included significant renovations in an office space as well as a fit out of a school canteen.
Kurt, along with other contractors, quoted the projects and was awarded both jobs. The projects involved multiple trades and once again Kurt and his team rose to the occasion. They were given a very tight deadline over a Christmas holiday break and did not disappoint showing attention to detail, ability to think outside the square, resolve issues that were caused by suppliers and provide us with exactly what we asked for. Their knowledge across all aspects of the industry is outstanding and is very reassuring knowing that Kurt “has your back” and keeps you informed at all times.
Kurt has clearly selected his staff and contractors very well because when he is not on site, his team makes you feel the same way. They are polite, pleasant, well presented and have full knowledge of their job on hand.
